Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

I love elephants and the sweetness of the ones on this shirt were an instant "Must Have"! I' e also grown to love Zuri long-sleeve shirts. I find the fit closer to my actual size (they are not as blousy as other Zuri items) and the cut very versatile. I can wear it as is, with rolled up sleeves for a more casual look, as a jacket... The neutral tones of this particular shirt make it very versatile, and the elephants add cuteness. I've worn this top for days now and will savor it for a long time. Total winner!

Adorable pattern of a chain of elephants. I’m pretty sure I had a gold bracelet that looked like this when I was little. Now I’m racking my brain trying to remember what happened to it.
The motifs also remind me of kids’ toys - the ones with wheels that you pull along. I love that the elephant trunks are pointing up - I remember my mom saying that’s good luck.
Online color description says that it’s maroon, but I find it leans more brown…wine red mixed with brown coffee. Very similar to the main color in the print “Aperture”.
I wear a US size XL or 14/16 in shirts. I prefer the Zuri long sleeved shirt in a size L. I could size up to an XL, but would have to fold the sleeves up a bit since they would hang over my hands.
